Festus Ifeanyi Anagwu

Ifeanyi Anagwu is a doctoral candidate at the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing at Cranfield University, specialising in the design, manufacturing, and testing of smart aerospace materials. He is a recipient of Federal Government of Nigeria’s overseas scholarship to the United Kingdom. Prior to PhD pursuit, Anagwu received BEng and MEng, both in chemical engineering. He has many years of experience lecturing chemical engineering. As a doctoral candidate, Anagwu works with the Composites and Advanced Materials Centre at Cranfield University as a research assistant in polymers and composites processing science, in which capacity he has led an EU-sponsored project as the principal investigator. Recently, Anagwu became the first scientist to successfully design and manufacture a fire-resistant recyclable aerospace-grade benzoxazine vitrimer, which has drawn the attention of experts within the aerospace industry. He is the pioneer and current acting Secretary of Ihembosi Legends Club.
